UV LED stationery inspection lamp, GX Orion, is a modular system that can be used to cover large areas. There are three different models to choose from, UV on/off button only model is the one tested to comply with Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 engineering specification.

Six years after its launch, GX Orion has a track record of ZERO failed LEDs. We have you covered with a 4 year warranty and service centers worldwide.

Please be advised that generic UV lights that have several UV LEDs mounted within a few millimeters from one another in a small housing create an excessive amount of heat which significantly shortens the life of the LEDs. Due to the small housing and large number of LEDs you cannot observe the LEDs failing as there is still some light coming out, albeit diminishing rapidly, unable to verify compliance with ASTM E3022 and consequently NADCAP checklists. ASTM E3022 requires that critical components such as failed LEDs be replaced before use.

How to stay in compliance with pledged standards

Description

There are three different GX Orion stationery UV LED models (Remote, UV & WH and UV only) producing different intensities and tested to comply with a number of NDT standards. All 3 models come as AC (Mains) powered and are modular devices able to connect as many extension modules as you may require to increase the covered area in your station. The one in compliance with Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 is the UV only model.

GX Orion UV only (PN:L3102) has been tested to comply with both ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well as with the internal requirements of all PRIMES listed on our website, including Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 and Airbus AITM6-1001. It generates an intensity of approximately 4 500 μw/cm2 at 38 cm (15 inches). This model does not have a remote, it comes with one UV ON/OFF button. Ask for Extension unit with PN: L3105 that has only UV light.

GX Orion is the only stationery UV LED system on the market that is remote controlled and certified with an ingress protection marking of IP68 Waterproof, making it an extremely useful tool for inspection areas with excessive liquids.

The GX Series family of products has been specifically designed to meet the ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well requirements set by the PRIMES. The optics used in the GX Series meet the Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 specification. The beam profile of the UV light is extremely homogeneous without any footprints showing from the LEDs, shades, dark spots or other disturbing defects. We have a light for everyone.

All GX Orion models have a built-in PLC interface designed to connect to your PLC system. You can choose a “mother” or an “Extension” GX Orion unit, with or without remote panel, with or without on/off power switches and still be able to monitor the unit completely through your computer via the PLC interface. Or just add a pedal or a push button for convenience.
